This is a tumblelog, kinda like a blog but with short-form, mixed-media posts with stuff I like. Scroll down a bit to start reading, or a bit more to read more about me.
Goodbye to sleep,
I think this staying up is exactly what I need
Well take apart your head
Take apart the counting, and the flock it has bred
Goodbye to love,
Well it’s a ride that’ll push you up
Right against the wall
(Right against the wall)
Chew it up and swallow it
You’re brought back but…

sheffield based post rock/electronica band 65 days of static where supposed to take this year off but instead decied to create a soundtrack to the 1972 sci film
silent running and here it is as usual to 65 days of static albums they tend to take a few listens to unfurl there greatness but this one doesnt sound that great
sadly maybe its because its a soundtrack
but nothing really sticks out everything tends to flow into one which is good as i do love albums still in the time of listening to single tracks back to the album then
it sounds like a toned down version of last years masterpiece in my eyes we where exploding anyway track one overture is one of the best tracks on the album
all very flimic strings sounds slitgy middle eastern i like this alot the music is quite varied lots of strings and much more glitchy stuff also goes into dubstep on track 6
dont panic 65 days havnt gone all wob on us but more flying lotus esque dubstep with added amazing drums from rob thomas the last track finale features some kind
of robotized bagpipes which i find quite funny all in all its a good albu m but its better taken as a film soundtrack than a actual album
